Analysis of the Scientific Spirit and the Cultivation of College Students' Scientific Spirit

Abstract
The paper analyses the contain of scientific spirit from four different aspects,which are unwavering spirit of seeking truth,pragmatic spirit of respecting the facts,independent thinking and rational spirit,and innovative spirit of exploiting.There are 4 methods that the cultivation of college students’ scientific spirit can take.The first one is adhering to the truth,seeking truth from facts,taking the correct attitude to science,exploiting and innovating,and independent thinking.The second method is cultivating the advanced scientific temperament,changing concepts of education and creating an atmosphere of equality and democracy.The third one is creating an open atmosphere during teaching,and taking Marxism's scientific principles as a guide.The last one is emphasizing on the development of philosophy and social sciences.
