Abstract

Based on retrieval of SCI and SSCI, analysis and statistics were made on sports scientific papers published on Chinese periodicals. Detailed study was made on institution distribution, documentation type, language, citation frequency, periodicals distribution. The results showed that China's sports scientific research was weak and lacked international influence. The study suggested that physical education colleges and research institutions should strengthen the application of SCI and SSCI, and scientific researchers should pay attention to norm of articles and improve foreign language level.
