Breeding of A New Muskmelon Variety 'Jinxiangmi'

'Jinxiangmi'is an early maturity F1 hybrid of muskmelon crossed by 04-9-1 as female parent and 03-2-14 as male parent.It grows vigorously.The fruit mature time was about 30~35 days after pollination,average fruit weight was 1.58 kg.Its fruit was of oval shape with yellow and smooth shin.The crisp flesh was white,and sugar contuent was about 15.8%.It's yield was 3 900 kg/667m2.It is suitable for culture under protection in Shaanxi province and the other areas with the same ecological conditions in spring.
