Abstract
A kinetic spectrophotometric method for determination of trace iron (Ⅲ) was established. It was based on the Fe (Ⅲ) catalyzed discoloring reaction of Bromophenol blue by potassium periodatein the presence of Hac-NaAc solution (PH=3.6). The sensitivity of method is 3.1 ×10~(-7)g/L. Therang of determination is 0-48μg/L The apparent activation of catalytic reaction is 98. 66KJ. mol-1.The method has been applied to the determination of iron in water samples with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
