Abstract
A catalytic spectrophotometric method for determination of trace manganese(Ⅱ) was developed. The method is based on the catalytic effect of manganese(Ⅱ) on the oxidation reaction of bromophenol blue by KBrO3 leading to a decoloration of bromophenol blue in pH 3.5 HAc-NaAc medium. The range of determination for Mn(Ⅱ) is 0~2.8 μg/mL.The detection limit of the method is 1.13×10-11 g/mL.The method has been applied to the determination of trace manganese in the tea with satisfactory results.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
