Abstract

In the late Qing period,Chinese society was under the impact of the crisis in the trade,it gave birth to a commercial war thinking as the core of the revival of mercantilism.Consequently,it triggered a series of modern China's social and institutional change,such as the advancement of businessmen in society,the practice of government mercantilist policies and the system,reconfiguration by the late Qing.It accelerate China's modernization course.
