Current Situation Investigation on the Environmental Awareness of Students in Xinxiang

Objective To realize the current situation of environmental awareness among college students in Xinxiang,analyze the influencing factors.Methods In this study,by making a comprehensive analysis of a number of environmental awareness questionnaire and combining with the characteristics of university students,we used self-questionnaire,collected in the 1 450 survey of college students on-site by the methods such as stratified random sampling and simple cluster sampling and systematic sampling,then analyze the results with SPSS16.0.Results The results show significant difference in the term of gender,nation,professional and grade.The important factors of environmental awareness include the attitude for environmental event,the attention for policies,the knowledge binding health to environment,and so on.Conclusions Environmental awareness is a related to the character of majors,Universities should take positive measures to strengthen the school education of the environment,implement the environmental practice,and deepen the system's environmental awareness training of university students.
