Abstract
Objective:To compare and analyze the effect of the tooth movement in periodontitis and the normal tooth movement on the periodontal tissue remodeling.Methods:Seventy-two Wistar rats were randomly divided into normal tooth movement and periodontitis tooth movement with 0 day group,1 day group,3 day group ,7 day group,14 day group and 21 day group(a total of 12 groups). The mesial movement of the maxillary first in each group was carried out and the distance of teeth movement was measured and the sections were detected by HE-stain.Results:In a given period of time, the distance of the tooth movement in periodontitis was longer than that in normal group;compared with normal tooth movement group, and the pressure side showed the clear osteoclastic phenomenon and the tension side showed the delayed bone formation. Conclusion:It is important to note and maintain periodontal health in orthodontic treatment, and a thorough periodontal treatment and maintenance are essential to periodontitis patients.
