Abstract

[Objective]To observe the clinical effect of self-made Xiaogu decoction to treat ascites due to liver cirrhosis.[Methods]60 patients with cirrhosis ascites were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group,30 cases in the control group were treated through protect liver,diuresis and symptomatic treatment or other western medicine,and 30 cases in the treatment group was added with self-made Xiaogu decoction on the basis of control one.Both groups were treated as a course in a month and after two courses,verdict curative effect between them.[Result]the total effective rates of clinical treatment in the treatment group was 86.67%,while the one of the control group was 60.0%,the total effective rates of the treatment group was superior to the one of the control group(P0.05).[Conclusion]Self-made Xiaogu decoction has curative effect affirmation on the treatment of patients with cirrhosis ascites.
