Abstract
Objective:To observe 24\|h ambulatory blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Methods:The 24\|h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring of 40 patients with essential hypertension(EH group) and 96 persons with normal blood pressure (control group) were compared. Results:The different of age and sex was no significant between EH group and control group.Systolic pressure?diastolic pressure of day and night, and 24h blood pressure load of EH group were more than those of control group( P0 01) .Systolic pressure and diastolic pressure were higher in EH patients with target organ damage than that of EH patients without target organ damage. Conclusion:There is correlation between 24\|h ambulatory blood pressure and target organ damage.
