Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of Yiqiyangyin decoction combined with Metformin on the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 118 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into two groups.58 cases in control group were treated by Metformin.60 cases in treatment group were treated by Yiqiyangyin decoction on the basis of control group treatment. The changes of FPG,2 hPG,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C and Glycosylated hemoglobin before and after treatment were observed. Results The total effective rate in treatment group(86.67%) was higher than that in control group(70.69%,P0.05).There was statistical significance between two groups on FPG,2 hPG,TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C(P0.05).The improvement in treatment group was superior to that of control group. Conclusion Yiqiyangyin decoction combined with Metformin has a good improvement on clinical symptoms and coordination with hypoglycemic effect, the effect of regulating lipid is also superior to the simple application of Metformin.
