Abstract
A method was described by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry for the determination of trace cadmium in traditional Chinese medicine.The influences of some experimental parameters of this method, such as Matrix modifier and its proper concentration,ashing temperature,and atomization temperature were studied and these parameters were optimized.Standard addition method was applied for the determination of trace cadmium,the detection limit and the relative standard deviation of the method was 0.0614ng/ml and 4.78%,respectively.The recoveries were 99.2% ~103.4%.The method is simple,rapid and accurate with satisfactory results.
