Selection of Grape Region and Variety for Straw Wine

To establish the raw material security system of fine straw wine and ensure its quality, research the selections of grape region and variety based on the meteorological data in Ningxia and Tianjin.Selected the region by means of comparing the climate indicators of heat, water and light and referring to physical and chemical indicators of the grape of two regions on harvest and selected the variety through comprehensively analyzing berries’ and species’ characteristics of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot; and got a conclusion that Cabernet Sauvignon in Ningxia had better performance for producing straw wine.
