Abstract

Objective To explore the change of cardiac chronotropic in patients with essential hypertension(EH) and EH complicated with diabetes mellitus(DM).Methods Study included 50 cases of EH、 40 cases of EH complicated with DM and 50 healthy people.Every case completed exercise treadmill tests and was detected the index of heart rate chronotropic response(CI).Results CI of EH group and EH complicated with DM group was significantly higher than that of control group(P0.05),and CI of EH complicated with DM group was markedly higher than that of EH group(P0.05).Conclusions The patients with EH and EH complicated with DM had different degree of damnification of autonomic nerve activity, heart rate chronotropic response could reflect the function of autonomic nerve.
