Factors affecting the drug craving of physically dried-out drug addicts

Objective:To investigate the factors influencing on the drug desire of drug addicts who are physically dried out in order to provide some evidences for the work of drying out.Methods:A self-developed measurement on the drug craving of drug addicts,with good validity and reliability,was administrated on 400 drug addicts who are physically dried out.Results:Different performances of different variables on the factors and the whole scale indicated that the drug craving of drug addicts who are physically dried out was common.Conclusion:Education, sex,age,drug addict method,and drug addict time,significantly affected the drug craving of physically dried-out drug addicts;what was different from the traditional view was that dried-out time length,dried-out times,and daily dosage did not have significant effects on the emergence of the drug craving of physically dried-out drug addicts.
