Abstract
In all-digital receiver, the frequency offset obtained by frequency offset algorithms is not quite equal to the practicable value. So, after correction, the received signal still contains a few frequency offset which is called residual carrier frequency offset. This small frequency offset affects the carrier phase acquisition and results in system performance fall down. For improving the receiver’s performance, a mean square error feed back algorithm is brought forward to correct residual carrier frequency offset in this paper. Feedback is introduced to the algorithm and in this algorithm its step is prescribed. The residual carrier frequency offset is corrected based on previous frequency offset’s estimation. MATLAB simulation shows that this mean square error feed back algorithm can solve the residual carrier frequency offset effectively and reduce systemic error rate greatly.
