On the Learning of Essay Writing in Song and Yuan Dynasties

The learning of essay writing which was created and developed in the Southern Song and Yuan Dynasties has been ignored by the academic circle for a long time.There were many works on the topic in these Dynasties,and scholars made great achievements in the analysis of literary writing though they also had some limitations.It can be predicted that the learning of essay writing will inevitably become a hot spot just as the learning of shi(poetry),ci(a kind of poetry flourished in Tang and Song Dynasties) and fu(descriptive prose interspersed with poems).
