Study of Effect of Glycyrrhizin Tablets Combined with Pevisone Cream on the Treatment of Eczema

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of the combination of glycyrrhizin tablets combined with pevisone cream on the treatment of eczema. Methods Selecting 98 patients confirmed with eczema from January,2012 to December,2013,patients were grouped based on patient subjective choice: 48 patients with single- use glycyrrhizin tablets( oral) were set as the monotherapy group,50 patients with joint application pevisone cream( topical) and glycyrrhizin tablets were set as the joint group. The efficacy and adverse reactions of two groups were evaluated. Results The total treatment effective of the joint group was 88%,the monotherapy group was 67%,with statistically significant difference( P 0. 05). Adverse reactions in patients in combination group did not occur( 0%). Only 1 case( 2. 1%) had local burning sensation in monotherapy group,and after 2 days' medication,burning sensation disappeared. There was no statistical significance the incidence of adverse reactions of two groups( P 0. 05). Conclusion The combination of glycyrrhizin tablets and creams to treat eczema pevisone has better efficacy and safety,and can effectively reduce the long- term use of corticosteroids alone possible side effects of medication. So it is worthy of clinical application.
