Abstract
To understand the current status of intestinal helminth infection in rural areas of Shanxi Province.The feces were examined by modified Kato-Katz thick smear,the Enterobius vermicularis egg of children lower 12 was been examined cellophane analswab technic.A total of 7 738 persons were investigated,the average infection rate was 19.94%.The infection rate of Ascaris lumbricoides,Trichuris trichiura,hook worm and E.vermicularis was 15.84%,0.83%,(0.04)% to 3.23% respecticely.The infection rate of human intestinal helminth Shanxi Province decrease compared with that in first investigation 10 years ago.
