Abstract
The tribological characteristics of a nickel-base composites containing sulfide made by hot pressing and sliding on the hard metal YJ2, were investigated. The results indicate sulfide eutectics are the major lubricants during high-temperature friction process and the friction temperature has a big effect on its lubrication; friction coefficients are different and wear rates increase as temperature arises; particles abrasion mixed with oxidation abrasion is the dominant wear type at high temperature; oxides formed on the surface of YJ2 hard metal have great effects on the anti-friction performances.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
