Abstract
Objective:To discuss the effect of temperature-controlled plasma radiofrequency in the treatment of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis. Methods:The clinical materials of 129 patients with chronic hypertrophic rhinitis were collected from July 2003 to July 2005 and received temperature-controlled plasma radiofrequency ablation treatment. The reaction during operation, postoperative complications, recovery time and the improvement of nasal cavity ventilation functions, etc.were observed. Results:After one-year follow-up,the results in 96 had excellent,29 effective and 4 improvement. Conclusion:Using temperature-controlled plasma radiofrequency in the treatment of chronic hypertrophic rhinitis was proved to have mild postoperative reaction, provided sooner and effective response.
