Abstract
Objective The quality standards for Yankening tablets were studied. Methods The TLC methods for identification of Rhizoma Coptidis, Cortex phellodendri, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei were established. A simple HPLC was established for the determination of Baicalin. The mobile phase was methanol-water-phosphoric acid (47∶53∶2). UV detecting wavelength was at 274 nm. Results Rhizoma Coptidis, Cortex phellodendri, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei could be detected. Baicalin showed a linear relationship at the concentration range of 0.276~2.208 μg, r =0.9998. The average recovery was 99.71% and RSD was 0.93% (n =5). Conclusion This method is suitable for the quality control of Yankening tablets.
