Abstract
The principle and measurement of open respirometry and its application in parameter determination of Activated Sludge Model No.2D(ASM2D) and estimation of influent model components were introduced.Many kinds of parameters can be estimated by respirometry in activated sludge process,such as the parameter to describe the activated sludge process,kinetic parameters,stoichiometric parameters,and components in ASM2D.Based on the respirometry technique,the synthetic wastewater and real wastewater were added into the equipment to estimate the exogenous respiration curves with integral calculation.Here the kinetic constants Y_H and K_S,and model components S_S,S_A and S_F in ASM2D were estimated.
