Abstract

Dibutyl maleate was prepared from maleic anhydride and n-butyl alcohol in the presence of strong acid cation exchange resin.When molar ratio of maleic anhydride/n-butyl alcohol was 0.1∶0.6,the amount of resin was 1.25g,reaction temperature was 120~124℃,reaction time was 140 min,the yield of dibutyl maleate was over 90%.
