Abstract
86 wild ground-cover herb species belonging to 31 families such as Compositae,crassulaceae and ranunculaceae et al were selected based on the investigation of the sampling and collecting specimens in Jilin province and they all had the application value in landscape garden architecture.There were 30 sun-loving species,37 shade tolerant species and 19 middle-light species.Most of them were many years growing herb and only few were one year living herb.The wild ground-cover herb had body beauty,group beauty,seasonal and various landscape and could reflect native feature at the same time.They had ornamental value and ecological value.Many kinds of designs could be done according to various plant programs,usages and places.
