Abstract
Objective To investigate effects of atorvastatin with different doses on levels of ox-LDL and hs-CRP in patients with ACS.Methods 120 cases determined by the clinical symptoms and/or coronary angiography as ACS patients were enrolled in the study.They were randomly divided into different groups according to atorvastatin dose: atorvastatin conventional-dose group(20 mg/d,60 cases) and atorvastatin high-dose group(40 mg/d,60 cases),within 24 hours of admission and one week,two weeks after take the drug,the levels of ox-LDL and hs-CRP were measured and compared.Results Before treatment,1 week after and 2 weeks after,the levels of OX-LDL in both groups were[The conventional group:(0.62±0.12)mg/L,(0.47±0.14)mg/L,(0.33±0.13)mg/L;High-dose group:(0.63±0.15)mg/L,(0.41±0.11)mg/L,﹙0.21±0.15)mg/L];the hs-CRP levels of the two groups were[The conventional group:(17.62±1.90)mg/L,(8.81±2.6)mg/L,(6.22±0.87)mg/L;high-dose group:(17.81±2.42)mg/L,(7.24±3.82)mg/L,(3.88±0.81) mg/L].There was no significant difference about ox-LDL and hs-CRP in the two groups before treatment(P0.05),but the level decreased significantly 1 week and 2 week's after(P0.01),and the high-dose group decreased more quickly than the conventional treatment group(P0.05).Conclusion High doses of atorvastatin can be more effective to reduce the level of ox-LDL and hs-CRP in patients with ACS.
