Abstract
Research works on steel beam to column moment connection are reviewed, especially the works after Northridge earthquake. Damage mode of beam to column moment connection in Northridge Earthquake and Hyogoken Nanbu (Kobe) Earthquake are presented. Performance of steel beam to column moment connection under static and seismic load and the influencing factors are discussed. Some design criteria for the steel beam column connections suitable for seismic design are suggested.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
