Considerations on the Design of Railway Noise Barrier Landscape

Abstract
The design of noise barrier should be combined with the design of acoustics,structure and landscape. As people improve their environmental requirements,they not only pay attention on the noise reduction effect but also on the landscape of noise barrier. The design of the noise barrier landscape will be raised to be equally with the design of acoustics and structure,and will be taken as and important part of the whole design of noise barrier,therefore the design of the noise barrier landscape will be the future development trend of the noise barrier design. This essay gives analysis on the current status of railway noise barrier,and some considerations on the design of railway noise barrier landscape from four aspects of the landscape design principle,exterior design,choices of the materials and color.
