On Innovative Information Services for Modern Libraries of Colleges and Universities

Abstract
The age of internet calls for a readjustment of libraries' role of colleges and universities as to offering innovative information service.The author puts forward a proposal for innovative ideas,such as humane service,education service of information accomplishment,knowledge management service,and integration service,and the like.Based on these ideas,the innovative system of the information service for modern libraries should be characterized by human-centered,innovative education service patterns,one-station integrated information service,and developing knowledge management service pattern for reference and consultation,and so on.
