Abstract

Based on the introduction of main factors of influencing power factor and methods of enhancing power factor for the low voltage network,the determination doctrines of reactive power compensation technique and reactive power compensation capacity were discussed,the application and its economic benefits of reactive power compensation technique that used to enhance power factor in low voltage distribution networks were analyzed.
