Breed Resource Investigation and Conservation Suggestions for Lingnan Cattle

Lingnan cattle is a local breed distributed in the southern area of Guling of Shangluo city of Shaanxi province.The general situation of production region,breed origin and developing direction,exterior characteristics,body sizes and weight,production performance,feeding and management etc.was introduced.Based on the integrate evaluation,the conservation measures of Lingnan cattle were proposed to provide the basic data for this valuable resource.
