The Funding of Local Confucian Schools in the Ming Dynasty——The Investigation round the Local Records of the Ming Dynasty

In the Ming Dynasty,the so-called local Confucian schools mainly refer to Fuxue,Zhouxue and Xianxue.Moreover,Dusiweixue is also included.This paper investigates the source and expenses of local Confucian schools funding based on the basic historical materials of the Ming Dynasty's local records from the following aspects:Confucian teachers' salaries,Confucian students' meals,daily expenses and other extra expenditures,etc.
