Abstract
In order to strengthen the management of the local Confucian education,the Ming Government established the post of Confucian inspector,to set up the inspecting system.This paper discusses the establishment,the main duty and the function of the post of Confucian inspector in Ming Dynasty so as to know the local Confucian education history in Ming Dynasty through the perspective of Ming Government's great attention and control to local education.
