Abstract
Objective To establish the biological reference interval for our laboratory, taking platelet volume distribution width as example. Methods According to (NCCLS) C282 A2,the platelet volume distribution width levels in 506 healthy individuals were determined and analyzed to establish the biological reference interval. Results The results between male and female or in different age groups showed no statistical significance, the reference interval of PDW was (10.2-18.2).Using the datas of 200 healthy individuals to verificate the new reference interval, only 1% was not in the interval. Conclusion The newly established reference interval is available for our laboratory.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
