Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical significance of immunoglobulin heavy chain(IgH) gene and T cell receptor (TCR) Vδ2Dδ3 gene rearrangement in children with acute non-lymphocytic leukemia. Methods Nest-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and immunofluorescence analysis were used to study IgH and TCR Vδ2Dδ3 genes rearrangements in children with untreated acute non-lymphocytic leukemia(ANLL). Results IgH gene rearrangements in 49 ANLL were found in 10 samples and Vδ2Dδ3 in 6 samples. One of ALL patients was detected IgH and Vδ2Dδ3 gene rearrangements at the same time. Conclusion Not only IgH but also TCR Vδ2Dδ3 gene rearrangements occur in children with acute non-lymphocytic leukemia.
