Abstract
Objective:To explore the occurrence rate of rearrangements of immunoglobulin heavy chain (IgH) and T cell receptor γ (TCRγ) genes in the patients with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). Methods: Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect IgH and TCRγ gene rearrangements in the bone marrow samples from 19 ALL patients. Results:IgH gene rearrangements were found in 10 patients, and TCRγ gene rearrangements in 5 patients; 2 cases had both gene rearrangements. Conclusion:In ALL,the occurrence of IgH gene rearrangements was higher than that of TCRγ gene rearrangements, and there was the phenomenon of cross rearrangements.
