Abstract

The ancient tea resources in partial county(city) in Zunyi Area were investigated to provide references for protection and utilization of existing ancient tea resources and to explore the ecotope and essential characteristics of ancient tea resources.The results show that most wild ancient tea trees distribute in remote villages with an elevation of 963~1230 m.The soil is chiltern and the surroundings are mostly forestry,building and farmland.There are many or sporadic tea trees around ancient tea trees.Ancient tea trees are wild resources,arbor with generative propagation.The tree-age is over 100 with excellent growth vigor.
