Abstract
To do the ideological and political work in the new situation is of practical significance to guarantee the reform and development of higher education. On the basis of the analysis of the present condition of colleges and universities, and in the light of the ideological reality of teachers and students, some suggestions on further strengthening and improving the ideological and political work are put forward in this paper.
