Abstract
This paper analyzed the composing of typical column gear. Based on the characteristics of AutoCAD drawing and functions of operating the drawing in AutoCAD, it is proposed that the column gear design can be get by using parameter program, AutoLISP code and VISUAL C++ code. Standard part can be created without people doing.
