Abstract
In order to enhance the safety of the pantograph,aerodynamic laws of the crosswind influence on pantograph was studied in this paper.N-S Equation and SMIPLE algorithm were adopted to simulate the behavior of train-pantograph-net system in the strong crosswind environment.The variation of aerodynamic force and moment with different wind speed and angle were analyzed.The results show that,with the increment of crosswind speed and angle,the distributions of pantograph aerodynamic force and moment were non-linear and complex.Wake vortexes and low speed zoom occurred in the flow field,while the contact net influenced the flow field significantly.
