Abstract

Nanometer-scale copper powders was prepared by DC arc plasma evaporation. The effect of supersonic dispersing time and the content of surfactant addition on the dispersing properties of the nanometer-scale copper powders in alcohol solvent was studied systematically,in which nine kinds of surfactants were employed as dispersants. The results show that with increasing ultrasonic dispersing time, the dispersion effect of the nanometer-scale copper powders increases, then decreases under the same condition,PVP has the best disperson effect among the nine dispersant;the better dispersing condition is 4wt.% PVP with 60 min ultrasonic dispersing time.
