Analysis on breakout of billet continuous casting and counter-measures

Abstract

The present paper analyzes the causes to the breakout of the No.2 billet continuous caster in the No.2 Steel-making Plant of Anyang Iron Steel Co.,Ltd from the steel grade,mould condition,extent of overheat,drawing speed,vibration,performance of mould flux and technical process and advances certain counter measures.As the results better achievements have been attained.
