Abstract
From Han to Tang Dynasty,the ancient Chinese scholars' had three main views on the relation between Confucius and The Book of Documents(Shangshu) basically as following:1.Confucius compiled or abridged The Book of Documents;2.Confucius wrote the prologue of The Book of Documents;3.The Book of Documents had ever been taught as one of his text-books to his disciples by Confucius.With the development of the discipline,however,the opinions of the scholars in Song Dynasty started to change and differentiate with those of their forerunners.For instance,Zhu Xi had his different attitudes: of those 3 views at least he suspected the first one of them,and denied the second.
