On the Mergence of Scientific Spirit with Humanistic Spirit

Abstract
The difference between the scientific spirit and the human spirit lies in the difference between the factual recognition and the value recognition. The factual recognition requires the scientific spirit while the other requires the human spirit. The former embodies the implement logos and the latter embodies the value logos. The two are not directly opposite and we should unify them in persisting in the scientific spirit and carrying through the human spirit. The key to the unification is the re-understanding of the position and value of science and technology in the society.
