Abstract

The expression of electric charge distribution on the surface for an ellipsoidal conductor is presented by utilizing the electromagnetic scale-transformation and the space electromagnetic characteristic. This expression is in agreement with that for a conductor sphere when the three semi-axis a,b and c are equal. The results obtained are compared with that in the literature which shows that the result in this article is better than those in the literature.
