Abstract

An ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-MS/MS) method was developed for the determination of nitroimidazoles, sulfonamides and quinolones residues in honey.Samples were diluted with 0.1% phosphoric acid solution, and then cleaned up on a Oasis HLB and PSA columns.Quantitation was carried out using an external standard method.UPLC was performed on an Eclipse Plus C18 column(100 mm×2.1 mm,1.8 μm) using a gradient solvent system(acetonitrile-methanol-formic acid solution).MS/MS was performed with multiple reaction monitoring(MRM) mode. The detection limits of the 36 veterinary drugs were between 0.4 ng/mL and 4.0 ng/mL.The recoveries ranged from 63.2% to 125.5% with relative standard deviations less than 21.9%.The method is simple, fast and sensitive.
