On the Ideologies of Literary Criticism in Tan Wen by Yuan Shouding

Although Yuan Shouding is nameless in the history of literary criticism.But his yue shang shi shuo,Tan wen,Tan shi,Shiwen Lice in the volume of Zhanbi Congtan are related to many aspects of literary criticism.which reveals some theoretical features.There are many ideas in Tanwen worthy of our careful study,such as the value of the article,Wen relations,phraseology innovation,technique of writing,the process of literary creation,inspiration and so on.On the whole,his ideology of literary criticism was based on the Dao before Wen,not beyond Confucian tradition of literary criticism.Nevertheless,the theses mentioned above are meaningful in enriching ancient literary theory and guiding the research nowadays.
