Abstract
Objective To provide scientific data for cockroaches control after understanding its population change and seasonal fluctuation.Methods Glue trap were used to catch cockroaches at residence,restaurant and hotel from 2005 to 2007.Results There were three varieties of cockroaches such as Blattella germanica,Periplaneta americama and Periplaneta fuliginasa.Of which,B.germanica was the dominant species,which accounted for 97.12%.The cockroaches density was 1.40 piece per box for every night in 2007.The cockroach were active throughout the year and reached active peak from April to October.Conclusion There is seriously disturbed by B.germanica in Wenzhou.Effective measures should be taken to control cockroach.
