Genetic resources diversity and cultivars enhancement of tea in Fujian

Abstract

Genetic resources of tea are rich in Fujian and there are significant regional characteristics of its cultivars. The situation of cultivar enhancement and utilization of these resources in Fujian is reviewed in this paper. It is proved to be vital to protect genetic resources diversity of tea and reinforce the researches in the field of germplasm enhancement and utilization for sustainable development of tea industry in Fujian.
