Abstract

The effect of different quenching and tempering temperatures on mechanical properties of low alloy wear resistant steel was investigated. The results indicate that after quenching at 850 ℃ for 45 min and tempering at 430 ℃ for 60 min,the specimens had the best combination of impact toughness and hardness.
